Our client, a leader in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced Software Programmer/Analyst for a 3rd shift (standard hours 9 PM - 6 AM PST) direct hire position.
The primary duties include:
Applications and systems monitoring, sustaining engineering, and new development to support the Data Integration Services' processing systems. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, developing new and modifying existing code to improve processes and functionality of existing systems, researching and resolving defects, and executing other development and analysis tasks as assigned. Will monitor ETL processes.
Must be skilled in SQL Server and T-SQL query language. Must be able to read and understand stored procedures in order to troubleshoot issues that arise from failed stored procedures. Should have knowledge in troubleshooting performance issues. Proficiency in C# and C++ is a plus. Knowledge of Informatica is desirable but not required. Should understand relational database management systems. Experience with ETL and batch processing systems in both a development and support role is critical.
* Must have over four years of ETL and SQL Server experience.
After a few months of training and working on the job, this person will be able to work from home .
