As a Recruiter/Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible to source, interview, and assist in the selection of qualified candidates. Meet with supervisors and managers of vacant positions to understand and determine exact qualifications required to provide the best fit for position openings. Interview applicants to explain available positions and evaluate applicant interest, background, experience and personal qualifications. Exhibit the ability to interact effectively with various types of people. Initiate decline written responses to all applicants and maintain applicant records. Conduct personal interviews with candidates, including any necessary travel; schedule interviews pertinent to management participation. Facilitate applicable testing. Involvement with college recruitment and assist with placement of employment advertising and related duties.
Coordinate the selection process for various, professional and technical position openings to include posting opening notices, application administration, candidate screening and candidate notification. Meet with supervisor on selection decision. Implement and facilitate hiring procedures for successful candidates by extending offers, and establishing training and performance review schedules. Provide candidates with information regarding compensation, benefits, policies and procedures in order to ensure the candidate is well informed and a positive image is promoted. Complete orientation and applicable paper work. Conduct new hire orientation and ensure hiring supervisors are informed of their orientation responsibilities.
Ensure all positions are posted prior to outside advertising. Place advertising in compliance with federal and state guidelines and Company policy. Act as liaison to employment agencies. Ensure that discrimination does not exist in the selection or promotion process. Complete a variety of functions to develop the recruitment process of quality candidates to fill a variety of positions including professional, supervisory, highly technical and mid to upper management positions. Assist with a variety of department and Company wide projects, including employee surveys, applicant tracking, department audits, diversity projects, job enrichment training and department research.
Requirements:
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Bachelor s degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years proven employment recruiting or equivalent
Well developed interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of current government regulations related to employment
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
Good understanding of current HR system and demonstrated ability to complete queries and collect, evaluate, analyze, and organize data relating to HR functions into logical, useful format
