About the Opportunity
The luxurious El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa, located in Taos, NM, is a place as unique as the philosophy that guides it. Renowned for its commitments to ecological preservation and sustainability, the lush sanctuary of El Monte Sagrado is where you can nurture your mind, body and soul, naturally. With exquisite elegance, the resort offers 36 suites and casitas with decor that reflects an array of global influences inspired by Native American culture, foreign lands and local artists. As part of our continued growth we are looking for a seasoned sales person to work from their home office, and target the Dallas market and surrounding area. It is essential for this role that the individual has hospitality sales experience. They should also have the following: * Previous Sales Management experience in a four or five diamond hotel * Experience in selling to all market segments inc; corporate/group sales, leisure, association, smerf etc. * New business development experience. * Account management experience. * Drive and self motivation. * A proven track record in hospitality sales. * A minimum of 5 years sales experience. * Contract negotiation skills.
