Job Description: The reservations department for our resort in San Pedro, Belize is seeking a service oriented person for our Houston sales office. This position is based in Houston and is NOT a work from home position. We are a full service resort and require our reservations staff to have experience in full service hotels and resorts. There are high expectations for precision and execution of reservations and customer service.
Duties include:
Answering incoming calls and taking reservations based on information that you MUST memorize prior to a start date
Upselling meal plans and room types
Upselling activities, tours, and spa services
Entering data into reservations system (knowlege of RDP and ACT a plus)
Follow up on customer leads DAILY and convert to sales
Revenue management
Administrative support
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines .
Job Requirements: Computer literacy a MUST
Microsoft applications experiece at an advanced level
Correct grammer and communication skills
Bilingual preferred
5 Years or more resort and/or hotel experience
Online Channel Management experience REQUIRED (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.)
Able to work 9-6 Monday-Friday
Excellent attendance record
Able to handle a fast-paced environment with confidence
Capable of being flexible
