Robert Half Technology is currently accepting applications for a telecommute QA Tester in the Seattle area on a contract basis. Join a group of contractors in Seattle for a social services non-profit. Our client is building an Apache/PostgreSQL/PHP web application to modernize a call center for staff which takes thousands of social service phone calls every day.
This is not a general web application. It is a dedicated service with trained operators running at a single site. The client has complete, detailed, and approved requirements; screen mockups and storyboards; enthusiastic users who are experts in their fields and comfortable working with developers; supportive management; and an experienced IT support group.
What is the work?
* A mix of collaborative problem-solving and independent
implementation
* Work from home regular business days; be available online and by phone during regular business hours
* Meet weekly in downtown Seattle
* Meet end users on-site in Los Angeles monthly
