Our Aurora Business Office is currently seeking a Physician Coding Auditor to work with our clinics. This individual will review patient records to insure that they contain proper documentation so that our patients are billed accurately. They will also educate physicians on new and changing government guidelines. The majority of this work can be done from home using a computer that we supply!
Imagine yourself...
Reviewing physician documentation within a patient's medical record for accuracy in billing codes
Educating physicians on current/changing coding guidelines as well as federal and state regulations
Analyzing and reporting the results of medical record audits
Working with our coding personnel to identify and correct any omissions within a medical record
Qualifications
Certified Procedural Coding Certificate
Minimum of four years of experience in ICD-9, CPT-4 and HCPCS coding, policy and procedures
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
