Position Description .
ACCOUNTANT PART-TIME
Milwaukee Youth Arts Center (MYAC) has an immediate opening for a part-time accountant. The position (approximately 10 hrs/wk) is responsible for AP, deposit processing, g/l entries, account reconciliation, Board reporting, budgeting, and preparing for the annual audit. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, independence, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, initiative, proficiency in Word and Excel, and an understanding of computerized accounting systems. An Associates Degree in Accounting or 2 yrs of related experience is necessary. This is a fun, casual work environment with flexible hours, and there are potential work-from-home hours.
