This is a 6+ month contract * no benefits are provided.
Pay rate is $37 hourly firm (sorry no exceptions).
This is a full time position.
Candidate must be able/willing work onsite in Minneapolis MN. Client is open to letting qualified candidate work from home a few days a week though when not needed onsite.
This role specifies, places and modifies data to support the development of applications solutions, and is responsible for the data used, updated and produced by the application. Qualified candidate will perform the transformation of the logical data model to the physical model and resulting database structures. Will also implement, tune and maintain the databases used by the application in the production environment.
Candidate must have:
Oracle Database Administration experience (Version 11i highly preferred)
Encryption, Database links, Refresh and Script writing experience
Infrastructure background (certification, technology refresh planning, etc...)
Veritas RAC experience
Experience working on HP/UX and Sun platforms
Experience with Performance Tuning is a plus
