Fast moving consulting firm in L.A. is seeking an Oracle Applications DBA who has experience in the installing software configuration for various Oracle software packages. Looking for DBA that has experience in supporting the Oracle E-Business suite of products. Regional travel to local clients is 50-75%; you'll work from home the rest of the time. Must be local to LA area for consideraton.
Responsibilities include working with our clients on various projects within So Ca - LA area.
Requirements:
Work with clients to define business requirements and priorities for Oracle applications.
Manage Oracle application and advanced configuration changes.
Provide support for Super Users of the Oracle Applications. User account maintenance, security and printer setup/configuration. Request queue maintenance/scheduling. Client workstation setup/configuration.
Application problem troubleshooting. Coordinate issue resolution with DBA and Oracle Support.
Provide assistance to the DBA on application patching/upgrades as required.
Provide expertise on new features and releases.
Develop fast formula solutions as necessary.
Provide applications knowledge to evaluate and improve current processes. Provide support for Oracle Workflows.
Design/develop and implement interfaces between the Oracle Applications and applications.
Create/Maintain system/application documentation (processes and procedures).
Develop and installs custom reports, forms and processes to expand functionality of the system.
