Online tutoring is flexible, fun and rewarding. Join our team of over 1,000 tutors who work from their home, office or dorm wherever they have a high-speed Internet connection and a computer. Set your own schedule from 5 25 hours a week whenever you are available from 2 p.m. 1:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Make about $10 an hour to start and earn monthly bonuses and pay increases the longer you tutor with us.
Tutors help students in grade school, junior high, high school and college who are struggling with a project, homework assignment or concept in our Online Classroom utilizing type-chat, an interactive whiteboard, graphing and equation tools, a Web browser and more. Students report that they are gaining more confidence in school, completing their assignments and improving their grades. Students even tell us that our online tutors are helping keep them in challenging science classes that they may have otherwise dropped due to frustration and confusion.

Requirements
Qualifications
Currently reside in either the US or Canada and have a valid Social Security or Social Insurance number
Currently enrolled or have graduated from a US or Canadian College or University
In-depth knowledge of subject you wish to tutor
Ability to explain concepts to young people of a variety of ages within the parameters of the online environment. Tutoring or teaching experience preferred
Technical Requirements
High speed Internet access (DSL/Cable/T1 with speeds of 256 KB upload and 256 KB download or higher.)
A fully updated Windows XP with Service Pack 2
Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
At least 512 megs of RAM, and a Pentium 3, 500MHz or faster processor
Speakers and a microphone (headset with microphone preferred)
