The role will have overall responsibility for the performance of global Information Technology infrastructure vendor operations, across Europe, US, Canada &Australia.
His or her specific responsibilities will include the following:
* Manage those purchases including: specification services, monitoring them against our SLA, budgeting, checking invoices, etc.
* Assist with audits.
* Responsible for coordination with sales team regarding responses to proposals, coordination of client &prospect visits.
* Optimize client's infrastructure to get the most out of their operations as well as managing risk.
* Develop business continuity &disaster recovery strategy.
* Responsible for the work at home and India connectivity - offshore.
* Manage desktop support whether it is delivered by IBM or internally.
* Accountable for operational and strategic metrics that drive overall operational effectiveness.
* Prepare financial results of IT worldwide.
* Work with vendors in establishing preferred vendors list.
* Coordination of IT town halls, global staff meetings and strategy sessions.
* Work with clients - data feeds, call centers.
* Manage all IT budget.
* All vendor responsibilities.
* Infrastructure - will have a staff of networking &infrastructure subordinates.
* Manage three facilities.
Qualifications:
Fifteen to twenty years of experience in Information Technology, with emphasis on project management in the infrastructure area of IT.
