The Job
Government / DoD Business Development Manager
DPC Government Services Division has an immediate opening with our client in the DC area. The chosen candidate will be marketing the area looking for new business with Federal Government agencies, especially DOD. Candidate will be selling the services of any of five Alaskan Native Companies (ANCs) - one large and four 8(a)s.

Title: Lead Business Development Manager
Location: Downtown DC - or - work from home
Salary: 120K - 160K plus full benefits
Job Description:
Our client has an immediate opening for a seasoned marketing professional with a proven track record to win new business with Federal Government agency clients based in the Washington, D.C. Beltway area.
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years progressively responsible experience in the marketplace, preferably with a background in both DOD acquisition and Industry business development.
Applicants should hold at least a SECRET security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
A Bachelors degree in a technical or management field is required; a Masters degree is a plus.
The Company .
Our client, is a $100M/yr company with 900 employees worldwide - literally pole to pole. The company is ISO 9001-certified, and has a TOP SECRET facility security clearance. The business development organization is empowered (funded) to grow the company to $500M in the next five years. The D.C. marketer would be backed by a full range of Corporate support.
Alaskan Native Corporations (ANCs) recieve special preferences no other small business can claim, not the least of which is the Government's ability to sole source contracts to an ANC with no limit in value (DOD sole source threshold is currently $3M, an ANC can go after prime contracts in the $100Ms).
Additionally, DOD can offer prime contractors a 5% Indian incentive rebate if they bring on an ANC sub.
