Description: DaVitaJob DescriptionVillage Health Representative, Village Health Call CenterDepartment: RMSReports to: Village Health Contact Center Representative SUMMARY OF BASIC JOB FUNCTION: Provide Contact Center-based support via phone, email, web for Village Health Patients, Teammates and Non-Village Health Patients, family members and renal professionals as follows; Facilitate explanation of coverage of services for those members participating in Village Health Special Needs Plan;Provide information about Village Health services and educational materials; Actively contribute to the Village Health Service Contact Center knowledge databases;Actively contribute and improve processes;Live the DaVita way of team.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Responds to inbound contacts2. Actively engage and enroll beneficiaries3. Acts on data gathered by following established procedures for handling contacts from members and providers4. Responds to inquiries and acts on the data gathered per established procedures5. Adds data and knowledge to all knowledge databases6. Thoroughly follows established procedures and follow up mechanisms7. Liaises with DaVita teammates at other locations to provide customer service excellence8. Abides by performance metrics9. Previous Health Plan experience a plus but not essential10. Must be willing to work during expanded hours when the need arises.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent +3 yrs experience with Health Plans and member/provider services Ability &willingness to learn about Kidney Disease and related topics Excellent customer relationship and inter-company network building skills Superb customer-centered phone manner Ability to empathize with members under stressful circumstances and yet remain operationally effective Organized multi-tasker with excellent time management and prioritization skills Attention to accuracy of details and relentless follow-through with a curious and investigative inclination Ability to proactively add knowledge gained to databases to improve processes and help refine procedures Willingness to get set up to work from home at the discretion of management Ability/willingness to work overtime Ability to understand and follow employment policies and procedures Adherence to achieving the metrics and goals that are set for the department and receptivity to constructive feedback and development Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information and patient and medical professional interactionNOTE: Shift work may be required: 8am 4pm or noon 8pm.
