Position: Lead Sharepoint Developer
Location: Tyson s Corner / Vienna, VA
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $80,000-$100,000
The Position:
Our client is actively looking for a hands-on Sharepoint Lead to front Sharepoint development efforts for large Sharepoint deployments. The right person for the job will be a skilled .NET Developer (C# or VB.NET) with significant Sharepoint customization experience. You'll need to already be proficient in configuring and administering Sharepoing 2003/2007 Portal, and have at least intermediate-level experience with Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2000/2005 as well. This is exciting, high-profile work that will look GREAT on a resume!
Skills Necessary to Succeed:
*Strong Configuration and Administration experience with SharePoint 2003/2007 Portal
*Strong background in Microsoft technologies including the SharePoint SDK, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, XML, Visual Studio.NET 2003.
*Strong .NET (VB.NET/C#) Development, including web part development.
*Experience customizing the look and feel of MS SharePoint.
*Conceptual understanding and solid experience around Windows Server 2003.
*Significant experience working with SQL Server, especially 2000 and 2005.

Required Skills:
*Experience developing websites (user interfaces), preferably in raw HTML rather than DreamWeaver or FrontPage.
*Experience building databases, preferably on a scale requiring SQL Server or Oracle.
*Experience building database-driven websites (using Active Server Pages, preferably, but ColdFusion, PHP, and Java are acceptable). The combining of websites with databases is the most important qualification.
*Experience working with network management, in order to understand what's going on here. Large-scale procurement would be equally valuable.
*Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
